Champlin, MN and Burnsville, MN - CNC Metalcraft, a leader in the fabrication of architectural metal wall panels for the commercial construction industry, proudly announces its acquisition of Protean Construction Products, Inc. The acquisition of Protean marks a strategic expansion, significantly broadening CNC Metalcraft's market presence. Previously well-established in the Midwest, this move now integrates Protean's market positions on both the East and West coasts. This merger not only widens the geographical service area but also elevates the offering of innovative architectural solutions, promising a synergy of expertise, production capabilities, and customer service.

 

Key Details of the Merger:

Headquarters Relocation: CNC Metalcraft will move its operational headquarters to Burnsville, MN, leveraging Protean's state-of-the-art 62,500 square foot facility. This move is expected to streamline operations and foster innovation through shared resources.

Employment Growth: The combined workforce will exceed 60 employees, creating a hub of expertise in architectural metal fabrication and craftsmanship for every project.

Enhanced Capabilities: Look forward to an enriched product line that combines CNC Metalcraft's innovative Sure-Panel wall panel systems with Protean's versatile plate, honeycomb, and column cover systems.

Strategic Market Expansion: The acquisition aims to leverage Protean's coastal market strengths, allowing for an expanded customer base and the introduction of CNC's precision-crafted wall panels to new regions.
